Hi! I am planning day trip from Krakow to Zakopane and would like to visit Morskie Oko, wanted to check what would be the easiest way and if I got everything right. 1. I am planning to go on 16th of November and would take early train from Krakow ~50 PLN one way. 2. In Zakopane I would take local bus to Palenica Bialczanska ~10 PLN. 3. Leave early! We left Zakopane at 7am and there were still quite a few people on the trail. We picked up our pace, passed the crowds walking in heels and flip flops (yes, really!) and managed to beat most people to the lake. Morskie Oko is absolutely beautiful! Its crystal clear waters lie peacefully at the bottom of dramatic mountain peaks.
